iOS vs. Android

     Being one of the lead operating systems for mobile devices, Android has many unique characteristics that puts it in the lead with other operating systems. Some of these characteristics are the "norms" of a smartphone. That includes a touchscreen, maneuverability, call/ text, entertainment, etc. Some of the things that makes the Android operating system different is that some android phones can have more than 1 app open, a changeable battery for more lifetime on the phone, etc.

     One of the other leading operating system is iOS for iphones and other products which was made by the well known company, Apple. Of course, iOS also has the "norms" of what a typical smart phone should have. Some of the things that makes this operating system different is size, brand, accessories, etc.

     As of today, more Android phone have been sold making it the most popular phone. So far, Apple has released its newest phone, the Iphone 6s. It has 3D touch, a more advanced camera, new design, and other distinguishing factors. One of the newest Android phones is the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, which has new features such as a wireless charger, lighting depending on the contact in the phone, etc.

Gangnam Style
      Gangnam style is a song sang by the vocalist named Psy, who is a popular South Korean singer. It hit number one in the South Korea's Gaon Chart and was the first youtube video to reach 1 billion views. The video was released on November 4, 2012 and now it has about 2.5 billion views. The term "Gangnam Style" refers to a Gangnam District of Seoul lifestyle. The music video reached to be one of the top music videos on youtube because of its amusing dance moves and catchy rhythm.
      I would rate this music video an eight out of ten because of how entertaining and colorful the music video was.




The Fox (What does the Fox Say?)
      The Fox is a song made and sang by the Norwegian comedian duo, Ylvis. The video was posted on September 3, 2013 and peaked 550 million views in October of year 2015. The music video accidentally went viral as the video was only made to become a teaser for Ylvis' new talk show, I kveld med Ylvis, also known as Tonight with Ylvis. The video contained awkward dance moves, odd noises, and an electric dance novelty background song. With all of that, the video contained actors dressed up as random animals, primarily as a fox.
      I would rate this music video as a seven out of ten because of the humorous sounds and lively music.

Callway X Hot Irons
   
      The Callway X Hot irons are nice forgiving clubs, with modern age technology advantages. They are considered as decently new clubs with high quality technology, as Callaway is considered to make some of the top irons there are in modern golf. In the club there is speed spot to reduce club weight. They also have finely made grooves to improve ball impact. The clubs also come with the high quality speed step 85 shaft, which can be changed if wanted.
      I would rate these clubs as an eight out of ten because they are very nice clubs that I own myself.



R1 Taylormade Driver
      The R1 Driver is a club made by a well-known golf company named Taylormade. This company is considered to make some of the best drivers there are. The fine details in this club include a face angle sole plate, shot shape weights, and loft sleeve. The face sole plate allows the player to change the face and angle of the driver. The shot shape weights lets the player choose where more weight is on head of the club. The loft sleeve lets you change the loft of the club.
      Overall, I would rate this club as a seven out of ten because of how useless the face angle sole plate and the shot shape weights are. Other then that, the clubs are great.

Restaurant Reviews

McDonald's

      McDonald's is a restaurant that dates back to the 1955's, which was founded by Ray Kroc. It is worldwide restaurant that serves in 119 countries and is the largest chain of fast food hamburgers. There are many local Goleta McDonald's, such as the in the Camino Real Marketplace. McDonald's is a cheap fast food restaurant, with decent to good tasting food. They serve primarily hamburgers, but also on the menu are wraps, sandwiches, chicken nuggets, etc. The negatives about McDonald's is how healthy McDonald's isn't.
      I would rate McDonald's as a six out of ten because of the cheapness of the food. Now they are even selling breakfast all day, which makes McDonald's even better.



Panda Express
      Panda Express is a restaurant which was founded in 1983 by Peggy and Andrew Cherng. It is a large chain of American Chinese fast food. We have our very own in Fairview and there are many in large shopping malls. Panda Express' signature food is the orange chicken, but also serves many other types of entrees such as teriyaki chicken, Angus steak, honey walnut shrimp, etc. For the sides, there is white and brown steamed rice, fried rice, chow mein, and steamed vegetables.
      I would rate this restaurant as an seven out of ten because of the deliciousness and varieties of foods they have.
